Tor.com publicará una novela corta de Malka Older

Tor.com ha anunciado la adquisición para su publicación en 2023 de una novela corta de Malka Older, que llevará por título The Mimicking of Known Successes.

On a remote, gas-wreathed outpost of a human colony on Jupiter, a man goes missing. The enigmatic Investigator Mossa follows his trail to Valdegeld, home to the colony’s erudite university—and Mossa’s former girlfriend and a scholar of Earth’s pre-collapse ecosystems. Pleiti has dedicated her research and her career to aiding the larger effort towards a possible return to Earth. When Mossa unexpectedly arrives and requests Pleiti’s assistance in her latest investigation, the two of them embark on a twisting path in which the future of life on Earth is at stake—and, perhaps, their futures, together.

Anunciada la publicación de Shall Machines Bite the Sun

Anunciada nueva novela corta de KJ Parker

En este blog somos muy fans de la obra de KJ Parker así que cada nueva publicación suya es un motivo de alegría. Mientras buscábamos información sobre otra cosa, nos hemos topado con la publicación el 15 de noviembre de Pulling the Wings Off Angels de la mano de Tor.com.

La información es muy escasa, pero aquí tenéis una breve sinopsis:

Long ago, a wealthy businessman stole an angel and hid her in a chapel, where she remains imprisoned to this day.

That’s the legend, anyway.

When a clerical student find himself in debt to a local gangster, he’s given an ultimatum—deliver the angel his grandfather once kidnapped, or forfeit various body parts in payment.
