Anunciada la publicación en 2020 de Year’s Best Science Fiction: The Saga Annual Anthology of SF

Aunque este año se publicará la última entrega de las antologías de Jonathan Strahan tituladas The Best Science Fiction & Fantasy of the Year tras haber alcanzado su volumen 13, esto no significa que Strahan deje su labor como antologista.

Se ha anunciado la publicación en 2020 de Year’s Best Science Fiction: The Saga Annual Anthology of SF de la mano de Saga Press (la pista del título era bastante buena).

Sobre la publicación de este nuevo trabajo, Strahan ha declarado: “Year’s Best Science Fiction: The Saga Annual Anthology of SF will be the definitive collection of short SF published each year”.

La fecha prevista de publicación es julio de 2020.

Portada de Velocity Weapon

La space opera es una de mis debilidades y con esta portada no os puede extrañar que le haya echado el ojo a Velocity Weapon, la nueva obra de Megan E. O’Keefe. Se publicará de la mano de Orbit en junio de este año.

La sinopsis:

The last thing Sanda remembers is her gunship breaking up around her as her preserving pod expanded, sealing herself away for salvage-medics to pick up. She expected to awaken in friendly hands, patched up and patched back into a new gunship. Rebellion publicará en mayo Tangle’s Game, una novela de Stewart Hotston, un autor al que no conozco. Aunque la sinopsis es realmente corta, lo que me ha llamado mucho la atención es la portada, que os traigo.

Orbit publicará una nueva trilogía de R.J. Barker

Se ha hecho pública la adquisición por parte de Orbit de una nueva trilogía del autor R.J. Barker. En el blog ya hablamos de su primera novela Age of Assasins.

Los datos sobre esta nueva trilogía todavía son pocos, aunque sabemos que el primer libro, The Bone Ships, se publicará en septiembre de 2019. También sabemos que los libros estarán situados en The Hundred Isles, donde grandes barcos de batalla fabricados con los huesos de los dragones ya extintos luchan por la supremacía marítima.

Estaremos atentos para ofrecer más datos sobre esta trilogía que tiene buena pinta.
