A partir del 6 de febrero se está emitiendo en Radio 4 una adaptación de I, Robot de Isaac Asimov.
Los relatos originales han sido adaptados por Richard Kurti y el productor y director es Andrew Mark Sewell, con música de Imran Ahmed y diseño de sonido por Alistair Lock.
Los actores serán Hermione Norris como Stevie, con Derek Riddell como George Byerley, Dianne Weller como Grace Byerley, Kelly Burke como Robbie, Rob Blackwood como el guía turístico y Mia Burgess como Young Stevie, además de Brendan Coyle, Nicholas Briggs, Michael Cochrane y Corrinne Wicks.
La sinopsis de la serie:
The rise of robotics in the 21st century is told through the poignant and mysterious story of enigmatic lawyer, Stevie Byerley. As a child, Stevie is raised by Robbie, a robotic childminder, because her parents are too busy working. The powerful bond she forms with the robot is unbreakable. Their relationship will change the course of Stevie’s life.
