Se ha anunciado la ganadora del premio Philip K. dick de este año y me complace mucho que haya sido Sarah Pinsker, con su recopilación de relatos Sooner or Later Everything Falls into the Sea.

Subterranean Press ha anunciado la publicación de Seven of Infinities, la nueva novela corta de Aliette de Bodard ambientada en el universo de Xuya, con una portada de esas de quedarte embelesada admirándolas.

Hoy tenemos la suerte de poder hacer un ejercicio que al menos a mí personalmente me resulta curioso y es comparar las distintas portadas que se crean para un mismo libro.
En esta ocasión os traigo la portada de la edición estadounidense y de la británica de Machine, la nueva novela de Elizabeth Bear situada en su universo White Space, que comenzó con Ancestral Night.

Yo tengo clarísimo cuál es mi favorita, pero ¿qué os parece a vosotros?
Acaba de anunciarse la publicación por parte de Subterranean Press de Rose House, la nueva obra de Arkady Martine. Se trata de una novela corta en la que un archivista debe descubrir el misterio enterrado en la mejor obra en la que está especializada, Rose House, un edificio diseñado para ser el legado de una arquitecta y que está habitada por una inteligencia artificial de su propio diseño y ahora, por un cadáver misterioso.
Desde luego con esta sinopsis ya han conseguido captar mi atención.
Está será la portada diseñada por Jamie Stafford-Hill de Master of Poisons, la novela de Andrea Hairston que Tor.com publicará el 8 de septiembre.

Subterranean Press ha anunciado la publicación de una nueva novela corta de Robert Jackson Bennett, a quien ya hemos conocido aquí.
El libro se llamará In the Shadows of Men y esta es su sinopsis:
In the desolate flats of west Texas, two brothers purchase an old motel with the intent of renovating it and making a fortune off the population surge brought about by the fracking boom.
