Solaris publicará Flames of Mira

Solaris ha anunciado la publicación de Flames of Mira, la primera novela de Clay Harmon, en primavera de 2022.

Esta es la sinopsis:

On a world whose bitter cold surface can’t be survived, everyone lives underground and wealth is determined by proximity not to light but to heat, giant ice stalactites plummet into lava pools, and all travel is through a network of subterranean passages.

Magical power comes from days-long life-threatening trials which enable the binding of rock and metals in the human body to those in the world around us. Many people aren’t bound to a mineral at all, and rarely more than one.

Ig was put through his trials by the Great Ones themselves. His bindings are virtually unlimited, the trials to attain those bindings so arduous he was lucky to survive.  He’s now blessed with great power, but cursed with a flesh binding that ties him until death to Magnate Sorrelo, and death is the price of disobedience.

Erewhon Books publicará Kalyna the Soothsayer

Erewhon Books ha adquirido los derechos de publicación de Kalyna the Soothsayer, la primera novela de Elijah Kinch Spector, con intención de publicarla en febrero de 2022.

Rebellion publicará el 17 de febrero del año que viene Mickey7, la novela de Edward Ashton que Warner Bros va a llevar a la gran pantalla.

Tor.com publicará Some Desperate Glory

Esta parece la semana de los anuncios de primeras novelas. Tor.com ha anunciado la adquisición de Some Desperate Glory, la que será primera novela de  Emily Tesh.

Más datos sobre The Culture: Notes and Drawings

Hace tiempo se anunció la publicación de una obra supervisada por Ken McLeod con las notas sobre la cultura de Iain M. Banks, pero hay novedades al respecto.

Ahora se van a publicar no una, si no dos obras con estas notas y dibujos.

En primer lugar se publicará The Culture: The Drawings, con los diseños y dibujos de Banks exactamente como él pretendía ofrecerlos al público.

Anunciada la adquisición de The Magician’s Daughter

En otoño de 2022 podremos ver publicada The Magician’s Daughter, la nueva fantasía histórica de H.G. Parry, de la mano de Orbit.
