Desde luego, hay cubiertas chungas, pero que den el mal rollo que me da esta, pocas. Aqu\u00ed os traigo la sinopsis de Precious Children<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, la nueva novela de Mary G. Thompson, a la que conocimos por aqu\u00ed con One Level Down<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, que Tachyon publicar\u00e1 el 1 de septiembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dina Blake\u2019s fourteen-year-old son, Geoff, has just died for the second time. But everything will be okay. The Blake family\u2019s wealth has bought them thousands of clones of each of their children. These children are farmed out to loving families, but with the caveat that the bodies are always available to the Blakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After Geoff dies, the Blakes upload their son\u2019s memories into Nathan, who is an unwilling host, desperate to stay with the family who loved him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dina\u2019s younger daughter, Di, is terrified because she knows something her parents don\u2019t\u2014the memory transfer doesn\u2019t always go as planned. The Geoff who\u2019s been living with them since his first death isn\u2019t the person her mother thinks he is, and the families of the bodies the Blakes steal aren\u2019t all innocent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Geoff returns to life in Nathan\u2019s body, he has to contend with Nathan\u2019s frustrating desire to live and his unexpected ability to fight for his life. For some children to live, others must die.
