Os traigo informaci\u00f3n sobre uno de los lanzamientos de Tachyon Publications para el a\u00f1o que viene, If Wishes Were Retail<\/a><\/em><\/strong> de Auston Habershaw, que otra cosa no s\u00e9, pero tiene pinta de ser divertid\u00edsima. El libro se publicar\u00e1 el 17 de junio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta es la sinopsis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Delmore wants out of her dead-end suburban town, but her parents are broke, her brother is an idiot, and NYU seems like a distant dream. To make it out, Alex needs a miracle. Good thing there\u2019s a genie in town\u2014and he\u2019s hiring at the Wellspring Mall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019d help if the Jinn-formerly-of-the-Ring-of-Khorad knew even one thing about 21st century America. It\u2019d help if he wasn\u2019t at least as stubborn as Alex. It\u2019d really help if her brother didn\u2019t sell her out to her conspiracy theory loving, gnome-hating dad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(And then there are those gnomes Alex keeps running into at the mall\u2014what\u2019s their deal, anyway?)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Alex and the genie set up their wishing kiosk, they face setback after setback. The mall is failing, and management will not stop interfering to protect its more lucrative tenants. Especially the big box store ValuDay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But even when the wishing biz might even be working, the biggest problem of all remains: People are genuinely terrible at wishing for the right things.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Cuando Alex y el genio montan su quiosco de los deseos, no hacen m\u00e1s que encontrarse con problemas. El supermercado se hunde y los due\u00f1os no dejar\u00e1n de interferir para proteger otros negocios m\u00e1s lucrativos. Especialmente la gran tienda de ValuDay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pero incluso cuando parece que el negocio de los deseos empieza a funcionar, el mayor problema persiste: La gente no tiene ni idea de qu\u00e9 desear.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
