Si Adrian Tchaikovksy tuviera que repoblar todos los \u00e1rboles que se talan para publicar sus libros, antes tendr\u00eda que inventar una m\u00e1quina de clonaci\u00f3n para que hubiera suficientes personas para llevar a cabo la tarea en un tiempo razonable. Aqu\u00ed os traigo la que ser\u00e1 portada de Elder Race<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, una novela corta que Tor.com publicar\u00e1 el 16 de noviembre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta es la sinopsis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A junior anthropologist on a distant planet must help the locals he has sworn to study to save a planet from an unbeatable foe.<\/p>

Lynesse is the lowly Fourth Daughter of the queen, and always getting in the way.<\/p>

But a demon is terrorizing the land, and now she\u2019s an adult (albeit barely) and although she still gets in the way, she understands that the only way to save her people is to invoke the pact between her family and the Elder sorcerer who has inhabited the local tower for as long as her people have lived here (though none in living memory has approached it).<\/p>

But Elder Nyr isn\u2019t a sorcerer, and he is forbidden to help, for his knowledge of science tells him the threat cannot possibly be a demon\u2026<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
