Lecturas de ciencia ficción y fantasía
Gracias a el blog A Dribble of Ink podemos echar un vistazo a la que será portada de la edición especial de Ancillary Justice que prepara Subterranean Press.
¿Qué os parece? Mi primera impresión es que es un poco demasiado explícita, no sé si se adapta al juego de pronombres y géneros del que tanto se ha hablado y que tanta polémica ha generado.
Ya conocemos cuáles serán las portadas de los nuevos lanzamientos (aunque el primero ya fue autopublicado) de Linda Nagata en Saga Press. Se llamarán The red y The trials. También os traigo las sinopsis.

Aquí os traigo la portada de la tercera entrega de la serie Daedalus, escrita por Michael J. Martínez. Como podéis comprobar, sigue la estética de la serie, pero mucho más “terrestre”, si me permitís la expresión.

Ya conocemos cómo será la portada de la nueva novela de Adam Christopher, Made to kill definida como scifi noir thriller. Esta novela será la primera de una trilogía, cuya intrigante idea de partida es : ¿cómo serían las historias de ciencia ficción de Raymond Chandler (conocido por su rechazo al género)?.
A partir de mayo del año que viene, las reimpresiones de la saga de Corum de Michael Moorcock (una de las versiones más populares de su campeón eterno) tendrán estas nuevas portadas.
¿Qué os parecen? No recuerdo lo suficiente los libros de Corum como para saber si se ajustan o no al contenido, pero no me negaréis que cumplen su función de homogeneización de la saga.
Aquí os dejo esta curiosa portada. Se trata de la edición china de la primera entrega de la serie Prince of Nothing, de R. Scott Bakker. Esta trilogía, que tuvo cierto renombre en EE.UU., pasó por España sin pena ni gloria.
¿Qué os parece la imagen?
Aquí podéis ver las nuevas portadas para los libros de Ramez Naam, Nexus y Crux, así como la de su nuevo lanzamiento Apex.
¿Qué os parecen? La idea es que las portadas guarden cierta semejanza para poner de manifiesto que se trata de una serie.
Gene Wolfe es quizá unos de los autores más “literarios” que tiene el género. Las noticias relacionadas con su obra me resultan interesantes, así que cuando vi las nuevas portadas que se han creado para su serie de libros del sol nuevo, no he podido resistirme a compartirlas con vosotros, para conocer vuestra opinión. Son obra de Jian Guo.
Ya conocemos cuál será la portada de la siguiente entrega de la saga de Tony Ballantyne, Dream Paris. Es obra de Joey Hi-Fi, un artista muy en boga últimamente.
